I threw my camera in the car when I ran to the grocery store, and almost didn't stop for a picture, but then decided to hop out and get a few shots of a creek that I drive by a lot. Most of the creek was dry so I jumped down into it for a better angel. The pictures turned out nice - nothing to write home about, just nice. So when I imported them into Lightroom, I was doing some minor adjustments. When I got to vibrance and saturation, I bumped them all the way up just for kicks - what it did was bring out the natural colors that were in the rocks and wood - at an extreme. I decided to go with it - so this is obviously not what the you would see in reality, but a fun experiment with adjustments. Amazing what software can do!
