Day 222 - Rudolph?

Do you even know how excited I was to learn that there was going to be LIVE reindeer at a Christmas celebration while we were in Door County??!! Of course I'm the odd adult there with a camera but no children! Oh well - it was still fun. There were two adult females and one baby reindeer! The challenge was that they were inside a green fence and I was trying not to get that in the pictures.

Day 209 - Rascal

I bought this bird feeder at the beginning of summer, and the first few bags of birdseed that I bought must have been the "squirrel-proof" type. I switched towards the end of summer and now the little rodents find their way to it and its gone in a day! Stay tuned for some future posts that will explain why this will no longer be an problem!

Day 185 - Whatchu Lookin' at Willis?

So home from work sick with some yucky stomach bug and I'm working from Ray's house. Well his neighbors apparently have a "family" of some sort living under their porch, so they have hired someone to remove them. This little guy was in the trap most of the day. I actually felt really bad for him - the would scrunch into the corner of the cage when we would drive down the driveway. Someone came and got the trap that day - so I'm sure he was just moved to a new location.

Day 66 - Whiskers on Kittens

For those of you who have not visited Amy's 365 blog recently - she is back to it and kicking butt!  So today we decided to choose a theme for our photos each week.  Some might be subject related, some may be around a specific technique. For our first theme week we will be doing our "favorite things".  Since we decided this at noon, I have been singing "raindrops on roses..." in my head.  And since I didn't have any raindrops or roses handy today - I settled for whiskers on kittens!  And my kittens are one of my favorite things!
